So well, guys... it was fun knowing you all. After the autismpill I will be a different person and turn into the average normie with a wife and a family SUV and 2.13 children and I will hang up shit like "Live, Laugh & Love" on my living room wall.
2.14, sorry, tsk.

But seriously, the wider consequences of spreading such disinformation is very dangerous and leads to all sorts of damaging conspiracy theories. It's the same bullshit as saying that the MMR vaccine caused autism. The doctor who peddled it ended up getting investigated and quite rightly struck off.

@Hitcore @AllThingsTech as autistics yourelves, do you find it offensive that Trump would allow such a lie to be peddled about your condition?

This is great news! It's especially satisfying to see that Trump's corrupt power has its limits.

Jimmy Kimmel is headed back to air.

Disney announced on Monday that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would return to broadcast this Tuesday, after a brief but highly criticized suspension that sparked a national debate on free speech and the muzzling tactics of the Trump administration.

I'll bet Kimmel will be even more barbed and vocal now.

It's more based on the fact that the folks that own the show are losing a TON of money due to dropping of their premium streaming channels, not going to any of the Disney franchises and what-not.
They've lost around 3.8 million dollars in market value in just the short time this has been going on. That was just in share prices. That does not include any of the Disney+/Hulu cancellations.
Then you top it off with the actors that had shows that Disney/NexStar produced stating urging people to boycott them, it all adds up.
Money talks and Trump's BS walks.

I can't speak for @AllThingsTech because her autism isn't necessarily the same as mine. The spectrum is kinda like this:

and of course what we think of things also depends a lot simply on personality in the end.

But in my case I'm not offended, at all. I'm just more like: is this orange mf for real? 🫠
Hence the playful tone of my previous post. If I'm truly mad about something I go straight up "grrr, F everything!" in sort of an autistic fit of rage and I may disappear for a while. 😅

@Astro What yes, that's a more detailed explanation of why Trump's corrupt power has its limits that I was saying. That turnaround was fast though, wow. Shows you the power that the ordinary man has when we pull in the same direction en masse. Of course, making that happen is the hard part though.

More info on the rigged election that got Trump into power. Even if the analysis shows unequivocally that Trump actually lost, how is anyone gonna force him and his party out and replace them with Democrats? It's too late as far as I can see. It's still really important to get the truth out though and try to make future elections more secure though. What a mountain to climb.

Speaking with guest Andrew Santino on Tuesday's episode of his podcast, Rogan said: "I definitely don't think that the government should be involved ever in dictating what a comedian can and cannot say in a monologue. That's f*****g crazy."

I wholeheartedly agree with Rogan. This goes both ways btw: cancel culture has been going literally from left to right and vice versa, because of "muh offended!"...
Stephen Fry once had something to say about that.

In comedy I believe that anything goes. Don't like it? Don't watch it. There is too much censorship already. Let this art form be. Ultimately I believe that a good amount of banter even brings people closer together. Walking on eggshells never helped with any of that.

Take this picture, for example:

llrsvk5rmtb21.webp

For OSA purposes I've cropped out the right part of the pic. But you get the idea of what it says. This is the sort of instance where there is nothing hateful about it. Quite the contrary.
With all the Divide & Conquer that's been shoved down our throats, this is exactly the sort of thing the elites are afraid of.

When the people aren't divided, that means they act together against those who screw the people over. The Occupy Wall Street Movement once came dangerously close to that. The elites felt they had to do something. Wanna know what they did?

I swear this whole left vs right BS is like 90% staged. The same with things like race, gender, etc. All those who got canceled and then sometimes got un-canceled based on what's said about any of those things or political flavor.... son, it's all part of the Great Distraction Show.

Thank you for listening to my schizo rant. To some it may seem that I go off-track but I really believe that all these things are connected one way or another.

What I have noticed is the rather sizable contrast between Trump's first term and his second term. In his first term no new conflicts/wars were started, the economy was relatively stable, and his policies were surprisingly transparent. Many may not agree with said policies, but there wasn't much flip-flopping, he'd do pretty much what he said he was going to do, no matter if you liked it or not.
Now, almost every aspect of his second term is straight up 180 degrees of what's being communicated:

> 'Release the Epstein files!'
Actively cover up Epstein files at all costs
> 'Defend free speech!'
Attacks free speech
> Fight the “deep state”
Protects corrupt elites
> 'Lets end endless wars'
Deploys the military at home, restarts wars with Iran and Afghanistan
> 'Other countries will pay tariffs'
Americans pay
> 'The people will have more money'
Only ultra-rich international elites made massive profits
> America first
AIPAC / Israel first
> leans to Russian interests
Waves the Ukrainian flag, gets more involved with NATO

Regarding the latter: even within his current term he has changed his stance drastically. It was only a year ago when his administration belittled Zelensky in the White House, now they almost act like besties. It all screams inauthenticity.
Again, his politics may not be yours, but in 2016 at least he was pretty much "what you see is what you get".
Now both allies and enemies often do not know what comes up next. Very uncertain times ahead.

@Hitcore, that's quite an analysis you've done there, and I do agree with your conclusion of 'very uncertain times ahead'.
What I do not understand is why is it that the democrats are so shtum, kind of let him do his thing; I wonder, are they scared that if they opened their mouths people may start falling off balconies....?

I can think of several reasons.
  1. Strategic advantage: let the ruling party dig its own grave. Trump has been stronger in the past, he is declining. The Republicans did pretty much the same thing when Biden was clearly in decline.
  2. Fear of backlash: Dems may hold back to avoid alienating moderate or undecided voters (mid-terms coming up next year).
  3. Shared interests: it took a while but Trump is aboard the Ukraine train now. Possibly for dodgy reasons, some shady deal perhaps that benefits Trump financially, who knows. But this stance suits the Democrats well.
  4. Shared interests (2): As it has turned out multiple times, behind the scenes Trump sneakily is preventing the Epstein Client List to be published, for obvious reasons. But there's a more than good chance that some very prominent Democrats are on that list as well. So they're not exactly objecting what Trump is doing right now. This is a pretty big one, I think.

I think point 2 is by far the most likely one with all the others coming in a distant second. For some reason, people are so afraid to stand up to him.

Perhaps for point 3, "shared" in this context means he's got dirt on his enemies, so they better not stand up to him.

Whatever, the whole thing stinks. This is an illegitimate president who should have been stopped years ago when he fomented that insurrection. It's right there in the fucking constitution, a self executing piece of legislation, Amendment 14, section 3, but the people in a position to actually do so were too scared to actually do it and I'm so angry about this.
