Officials at the World Health Organization have admitted that they are preparing for a “worst-case scenario” nuclear threat if the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran escalates.

Hana Balkhy, WHO regional director for the eastern Mediterranean, said that staff remain "vigilant" for a nuclear incident following President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Iran in a joint campaign with Israel.

“The worst-case scenario is a nuclear incident, and that's something that worries us the most,” Balkhy told Politico. “As much as we prepare, there's nothing that can prevent the harm that will come … the region's way — and globally if this eventually happens — and the consequences are going to last for decades.”

Depends on who "they" are. Yes, some folks have tried to get him. This happened several times. But these were mostly your average Joes who maybe fired a few shots in their lives but aren't exactly Rambo levels of assassins. This might change now since Iran is directly at war with the US, and Trump is of course their main target. It would not be very surprising if Iran sends their best snipers to the US to take Trump down, directly.

Then again, of course the Secret Service on this and now it also becomes obvious why for a longer period of time people from certain countries cannot just travel into the US, so there is definitely a certain degree of preparedness. Still, if the Iranians are crafty and creative enough, they could get to him.

At the same time, there are undoubtedly forces within Washington that aren't too happy about the current state of events and where it all might lead to, like they reaaaallly had enough of it, so some inside job sort of element could also appear.

However, another thing to keep in mind is that if the deep state/elites are going with an accelerationist approach to accomplish their new world order goals, then right now Trump is actually their wet dream, since he is definitely on the path of letting things getting out of hand.
