Indeed, there's no silver bullet to weight loss unfortunately, but the likes of semaglutide and mounjaro do help significantly by suppressing cravings which totally sabotage a diet, along with the body sabotaging it anyway, as per the NZ thread below.

And despite the undoubted benefits the weight-loss drugs demonstrate, health experts have warned they should not be seen as a quick fix.

Mounjaro is new to me and sounds more of a promising drug on several levels especially in availability and less supervision.

The criteria look likely to be similar, with the exception it may be made available more widely in the community, without the need for specialist supervision.

There really isn't a magic bullet to weight loss. What I find always missing from weight loss programs or regimen's are the lab work up needed to determine a person's over all health, such as those simple measurements of vitamins and minerals. Just being low in minerals such as chromium and vanadium can cause sugar cravings. Better gut health, microbiome and flora is also an essential evaluation step. A lot of times, the imbalance of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin can also cause cravings. There's an old book that has some validation to conquering sugar cravings with certain carbs like potatoes: Potatoes Not Prozac. Potatoes also have a resistant starch that is helpful to the gut biome.

So, are Ozempic and Mounjaro really the magic bullet for weight loss? According to this new video it looks like they are, or pretty close to it. If you're really fat, don't hesitate to ask your doctor to put you on it. These drugs are becoming more widely available now.

Also, there are better versions coming down the line. This video talks about Ozempic and Mounjaro and doesn't differentiate between them. However, Mounjaro is the better product as it results in more weight loss since it works on two fronts by mimicking the hormones GLP-1 and GIP, while Ozempic only does GLP-1.

Ignore the clickbait title of the video, the news is good.
