I feel your pain, @Astro What Must really tick you off to be in the same boat as all those millions of idiots who voted for him. Meanwhile, they'll still ardently continue to support him and make idiotic excuses for those price rises.
It's only 2 years before it self-corrects. Once the GOP loses control of the House and Senate Trump is neutered.

Trumpty Dumpty
lol

Pretty sure I read the actual EO's.
Did you?
It was an Obama era EO that added that extra into it. In fact, the exact EO I denoted.
The original 1964 EO was not (and should not have been) an issue, other than political grandstanding by what amounts to a "hidden white nationalist".
Trying to rewrite history in every step his cult members take!
I was trying, and apparently failed, to point out that the big man revoked it.
So far he has failed to act on ANY of his promises that are important to the working class.... you know, the things that make our lives easier and cheaper.
the high prices are a result of many years of bad policies and that snowball will take months or even years to chip away at.

Not according to him. He has a magic wand that he can wave and resolve high prices immediately, stop a multi-year war in one day... shall I go on?
The funny thing is, he was yammering away all pre-election about how he was going to drive prices back down. And once he got into office his tune immediately changed to "well, it takes time and it may not work". Explain to all of us ignoramuses how that is any different than what Biden was saying?
The wake up call is coming out hard... and people are starting to see that he really didn't give two sh*ts about the little man. It's all about him and his friends.

I have a magic wand, too. It's called a keyboard.
Then you should easily be able to find all the lies that Trump told, and continues to tell and find the facts that back up he's lying like a rug on a hardwood floor.
Meanwhile, his cult still believes the smack he feeds them. No different than a heroin addict needing their smack.

And the reply from @live627 ? Tumbleweeds... typical, I get that a lot when he doesn't have a counter and should just gracefully concede.

Here's a fine example of how the new admnistration is now riven with corruption and this is just the start. 😠

Just a little over a week into his second term, President Donald Trump is taking steps to maximize his power, sparking chaos and what critics contend is a constitutional crisis as he challenges the separation of powers that have defined American government for more than 200 years.

Thought you might want to see this. This person is a big Democrat.
And he clearly calls into question Pallas's statements.
The point I make is sensationalism is the word of the day. Never mind the actual facts.

Interesting how Pakman has analysed Pallas's claims and assumptions, making them sound rather dubious and he's probably right. I did also notice that he made quite a few assumptions too, however. Good find.

Hopefully, there will be a thorough investigation by a reputable agency one day and we'll know for sure, or with greater certainty, but I'm not holding my breath.

A new word going around:
Trumpflation (ph) - where Trump makes a false claim and then it keeps getting falser and falser over time. The numbers keep rising.

You know, you watch what's going on in the US with that piece of crap at the helm, and you get the feeling that there goes another Putin.
You get the feeling that if only he could, Trump would be all over Canada, Greenland, Gaza, throwing Ukraine to the dogs...while all the while basking in adulation. It's beyond me.

Which brings to mind yet another megalomaniac, one who lived over two thousand years ago, became popular with the hordes, and upon achieving the position of highest political power, it was not enough for him. He wanted more.
He wanted to be King!
His insatiable desire for power did not go unnoticed by those close to him, and instead of a Crown on his head, he got a Knife in the back (actually multiple knives).
As you may have guessed his name was Julius Caesar and the fatal day was the Ides of March.

Let’s hope this time history does repeat itself....Roll over Ides of March, just over a month to go......

Mars, it makes me so angry too. Megalomaniac describes him well, as well as psychopath.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that one. It's certainly true. One can literally not trust a single thing that he says.

He's been in power a mere three weeks, current price rises cannot be blamed on policy, no time to take effect as yet but the bird flu obviously affects egg prices.

Ukraine was was always an optimistic claim, anyone who believed he could solve it in 24 hours is naive but Democrats didn't do anything to solve the issue in their two years since invasion.

Time will tell if US made the right decision, women definitely feel more secure re the two genders issue and the border security.

Errr... care for me to pull the video where he was promising to bring them down on DAY ONE?
anyone who believed he could solve it in 24 hours is naive
And anyone who believed any of the other lies/exaggerations he made were the same. And now they are finding out how naive they were as they are having to pay 1/3 of the cost of a purchase for their clothes and some office materials that they are ordering in on tariffs. And these aren't left wingers complaining.

women definitely feel more secure re the two genders issue and the border security.
I don't know where you get that from. Seems we went 4 years with "multi-genders" and the only ones raising a fit were religious radicals. As it is, currently a straight male can dress up in female clothing and do the same. So where is the "protection" that is given other than a false sense of security. Do they have someone stationed at all women's bathroom doors checking the junk of those wanting to enter before they are allowed in? :ROFLMAO:
You do know a criminal is going to do criminal things, even if the law says they aren't supposed to, right? That's what makes them a criminal.

And I live a lot closer to a border that is whined about than Trump ever has (or any of his MAGA beltway faithful). And I don't see evidence of this run-away brown crime wave we are supposed to be having.

Oh lord, can it get any more "real"?
Trump sues the news for "editing someones interview"... and that change reflected as a narrowed down version of what was said.
Meanwhile, now video has come forth of a Trump interview with FOX news in which THEY edited his reply from a rambling screed to a few words. And the edit that was shown was nothing like what was said.

Is he going to sue FOX now for making him look smarter than his meandering made him look?
