Heheh. Zen I'm not sure. My room is tip-like - I have a messy setup and I sometimes feel like I'm going mad going around it all the time, though most of the time it's suitable, though embarrassed if someone sees it.
I get that, @Crims... that's about where I'm at with my organizing the past couple of weeks....just getting a bit maddening as it's going too slow.

If I wasn't so embarrassed about the operation I have going on in my office, I'd post a picture 🫣 Maybe y'all will get an after picture when it's done? 😎

Haha! Compared to mine I'm the slow one, I worked hard to be better than most of London creatively, but I'm figuring it out as I go. I'd be up for a picture though... unless if that means I will share mine

I just looked to see if I can even post a before picture....that would be a "nope" as I walked back out of the room and shut the door with a huge sigh..maybe an in process pic though.......however, I'll post an after pic when I'm done, and you don't have to share your room ;).

Crims, if you'd like to share any of it with us at NZ, we'd love to see it. I'm aware that there could be copyright issues though etc or just wanna keep it private, so no obligation. :)

Sorry about your flakes, that's pretty important on the crises meter that Cadbury fixes that issue immediately and does something for the business owner that's still receiving the older stock that's broken. Sheesh! Priorities man!! :D

Far too much coverage of Phillip Schofield ffs. So, a high profile daytime presenter got fired from a TV show, so what?! Some coverage was ok, but it's still hitting the headlines weeks later. Give it a flipping rest!

It's like they get fired but now have more power in the news? 🤔

My first world problems happened yesterday and I'm hoping today will be better. My toaster and shredder broke. When we went to get a package from the front door last night, a huge gecko got in the house and climbed to the 2nd floor level in the foyer; no catching it. Finally, the creme de la creme was going out to my garage last night and being greeted by a beastly copperhead snake. 🐍 Copperheads are venomous and it scared the "fill in the blank" out of me.😵‍💫 I had to swoosh it out with my push broom while praying it didn't have time to come back in the garage and retaliate.

That sounds like a pretty bad day, Tiffs. I especially wouldn't want to be confronted by a scary snake, for sure.

@Tiffany: Sounds intimidating for a animal encounter
I, like an idiot, went and cut the lawnmower cable and my dad soldered it back together :) not as eventful as you though

My first world problem is same as Retro. Celebrities have way too much sway, politically. Harder to be a niche as all adults are in the public eye and being superficial is king. I lack the nuance of brevity regarding the topic though.

It was intimidating and very frightening....my dh wasn't home either so I had to "woman-up" and get this dangerous snake out of my garage.

I'm right with you on celebrities. I'd like them to stay in their own lane. I really don't need to hear their endorsements or their opinions.

I have windows 11, not a fan, and there's weird stuff that happens that shouldn't happen. We have a few computers with windows 10 and I will have a family member not happy about updating to windows 11. Thanks for the heads up! :)

Your grandma sounds amazing and I love hearing heroine stories like that especially because she was the one to handle those dangerous jobs. Yeah, I would have to say, my brooms have saved me from man eating spiders and now deadly snakes. I keep a broom near my garage door and a hoe near one of my back doors where I let me dogs out and I'm always standing guard, they are never left out alone. I miss my Nana, she always had fun stories to tell and she loved to gossip about people in town.

Our water heater broke yesterday. It was an all day thing, between extracting the water out of a closet backing the water heater and coordination of "all things" related to said broken water heater. It's a first world problem because now I have a new water heater, but yesterday it was mayhem.

GPU Prices are still retarded
Yeah, that really pisses me off too.

Back in 2011, the top of the range GTX 580 cost me £400, quite a lot of money, but affordable and it was really fast in its day, too. Now, the equivalent card, the RTX 4090 is a whopping £1800! I get that there's inflation and it's a much bigger chip, but still the difference is ridiculous. This makes the GPU the most expensive component in a gaming PC by a country mile. Unless one is filthy rich, it's just not worth spending this kind of money and the extra thousand+ on the rest of the PC simply to play games.

Yeah in 2014 the Sapphire R9 290 Vapor X was $460.
Inflation was artifically orchestrated to bring people down

My solution is to buy used. I got 5700xt last month for $150. Computer hardware is largely stagnant now so even stuff from three or so years ago still kicks ass.
